Sophie and I frequent the library. The last couple times I have taken her over to the 'baby book section' and let her pick a couple books. By pick I mean.... I check out the first two she grabs. Yesterday she picked a jumbo board book version of The Napping House by Audrey Wood.
I read The Napping House all the time when I was little!
Don't you love reading all the books you loved as a kid to you own kids?

Taking little ones to the library is so much fun! I think it's great. Kids who have parents that read to them alot when they are little are always so smart and do so well in school! From what I can see - you are a great mommy! :)
The Napping House is one of our family favorites too! Have you read Piggies or King Bidgood's in the Bathtub?
My mom gave us her copy of the napping house. I love that book. I also love Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs(it is nothing like the movie) because it reminds me of my Granny.
