**I have started a blog just for Sophie. I am keeping it as a journal for her with letters, facts and accomplishments and I plan on making it into a book. I am not opening it for anyone to look at but I may occasionally share post or two from her blog.**
This is you as we are about to leave the hospital. You were so tiny. Your clothes were to big. Your pants wouldn't stay up. Your feet and tiny toes were to small for socks, they just fell right off. The nurses were worried about that, they thought that Dad and I would let your feet get cold. But we didn't. We wrapped you up tight in a blanket, made by Grandma Crook, and loaded you into the car. I didn't know what to think on the way home. I had a new precious baby in the backseat. I loved you so much already. I want to be the best mom I can be for you. Welcome to your new home where I hope you will always feel safe and loved.
