There has been a lot of speculation whether we are having a boy or girl. Everyone asks "Do you want a boy or a girl?" I say, "Either one." And its true. It would be fun to have the first John Boy, and it would be fun to have a little girl to dress up! Either way after December 30th (hopefully sooner) one of us will be outnumbered.
In a pregnancy book Brian and I have been reading it lists of whole bunch of old wives tales they used to use to guess whether you were having a boy or girl....
1. If the heart rate if over 140 its a girl, under a boy.
2. If you are honestly hungrier in your 2nd trimester then its a boy. (honestly, not just really really liking cheesecake and eating for two.)
3. Carrying wide, its a boy.
Those are just a couple but I'm sure glad we don't have to rely on these to find out if our little baby is a boy or girl! And we are open for all bets!
