Moving ...

Ever since I started designing blogs about 3 years ago I have always LOVED Wordpress. There are just so many good things about it that Blogger doesn't offer :)

The Hawaii Job

Sophie got 3 mini Chevron cars in the mail a little while ago from Grandma. She got them out today and was playing chase, zoom, and crash with them. It totally reminded me of the movie The Italian Job. I am a fan, one of my favorite movies. Not only was she zooming them around, she was filling up the cars with little red stones (the kind that go in the bottom of flower arrangements). So the stones were like the gold brick loot that they heist in the movie. Get it? Of course Sophie had no idea that she was mimicking a movie but I thought it was fun!

A Mini Vacation

We really enjoyed this last week, spring break! We spent a lot of stress free time hanging out, exploring the island, and as SJ says "relaxin'". We decided we better head over to the other side of the island for a couple days and take advantage of the kama'aina rates (the best!) and pretend to be tourists. Sophie was in love with being at a hotel. She got to pack her dora suitcase, eat pizza on the bed, swim all day long, paddle board, ride a tram, and watch a movie in bed until she fell asleep. (which, she lasted a whole 15 mins.) Oh, and the ice machine. Can't forget about that. Every time we walked past one she helped herself to a few pieces. 

We are so lucky to live in hawaii. Every day I think of how blessed we are to live in this beautiful place.
